Graduate of University of Benin, Called to the bar 1995 and has remained in active legal practice since then. He has worked as legal counsel in the law firm of Pius Egemole & Co. Warri, Legal Counsel, Fred Orbih & Co, Benin City, Practice Manager, Olofu Chambers, Abuja, Associate, Metrolina Law Firm Abuja. Resident Counsel: Dr S.S Ameh (SAN) & Co. Abuja. Partner, Capital Law Partners Abuja and Principal, Ehi Uwaifoh & Co. He has attended several Local and international courses in criminal and civil litigation, Banking and financial law, arbitration, investment arbitration, oil and gas law and several others. He has handled numerous civil and criminal matters.
He was formerly a consultant to the House of Representatives on the Electoral Act, 2002, Nigerian Custom Service on the Custom Service Bill, House Committee on Special Duties and House Committee on Police Affairs, Principal Counsel, Ehi Uwaifoh & Co.
He also has considerable experience spanning over 22 years in criminal and civil litigation ( He has handled over 250 criminal and civil matter at all tiers of court) , Corporate restructuring, legal and statutory due diligence, project and non-recourse finance for individual and corporate clients, like UBA Gulf Bank, Sterling Bank PLC, Nigerian Bottling Company PLC, Bank PHB, Intercontinental Bank PLC, Visa Investment ltd, Waade Investment Ltd, IBB International Golf Club hotel, GNLD International, Jenew Nigeria Ltd and several others.
He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, as well as an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (UK), He is a member of the International Bar Association and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) Oil and Gas Laws from the Aberdeen Business School of the prestigious Robert Gordon University, Scotland UK. He is currently pursuing a masters of legislative drafting at the National institute for legislative and Democratic Studies.
